With Avstar all of this is possible! In fact you can watch ANY
of the available TV sources ANYWHERE in your home with out the need to
duplicate expensive Set Top equipment and saving money on multiple
subscriptions to Satellite or Cable services. Avstar is a new and
exciting product that is going to revolutionise how and where you watch
TV.
A domestic installation of audio/video equipment typically involves many
different coaxial cables for each type of transmission media. If
channels other than the standard terrestrial selection are needed, then
each room requires a dedicated Set-Top Box (STB) in addition to other
video sources like VCRs and DVDs.
The Avstar system removes the need for
this complicated and expensive installation by centralising all the
Audio and Video equipment and distributing the signals via Cat5/Cat5E
cabling (standard LAN networking cables), whilst maintaining complete
control of all infrared devices.
